Lunch with Shogai Students

When mum and dad came to Himeji, on their first day, Tina’s Shogai university students organised a lunch at a nice Japanese restaurant so they could meet them. They are so friendly and welcoming and they were so excited to meet mum and dad. They all speak English really well and they have been really good to Tina ever since she started teaching them. I think they really respect her and think she is a great teacher, so they want to do everything they can to show her their gratitude.

This lunch was great. The students were so happy to speak to us and practise their English. We got really nice traditional Japanese food which made me really full at the end of it all!

This is a shot of the students all sitting at the table together.

This is a group shot of everyone who made the effort to join us for lunch. They are such friendly people and gave mum and dad good first impressions of what Japanese people are like.
